Barry Plaxen, is on the board of directors of the Orange County NY Arts Council, the Bloomingburg Restoration Foundation, the School of Performing Arts Assn. (the "FAME" school), the Pine Bush Area Arts Council, the River Gap Recorder Consort and serves on the Cultural Affairs Committee of the Orange County Citizens Foundation and the Sullivan County Bi-Centennial Committee. He has resided in Orange County since 1980 and owned and operated a successful business in Chester and Bloomingburg from 1980 to 1999 when he retired.
